FYI. Just uploaded the 2.0.47 from APM planner and set out to fly a little. Some wind, but not that much. In stable mode it was ok, seemed a little more flimsy than 2.0.45 but that's just my $.02. In alt hold it did pulsate quite a bit, and not nearly as stable as 2.0.39 if my memory serves me right ( w/sonar). That could also have been because of the wind, but at least the earlier versions didn't pulsate like that. In loiter (huge open recreational area, so plenty of sats to lock on to) it first seemed to want to escape, but letting it go do it's thing it came around to loiter with abt 6-7 m radius. Then it started twitching and tried to do a barrel roll at around 2 m altitude. Didn't go that well (really? hehe) and smacked face down on a lawn. Two broken motor mounts, broken camera mount, battery was flung away and disconnected at the crash, two props gone. Got a video of it and will repost when uploaded.
keep it real

Here's the vid from today's crash. switching over to loiter 16s into the clip.

Actually low battery doesn't seem to make my hexa wanna flip anymore. With esc's set on soft cutoff (reduce throttle instead of cutting it) my hexa just descends when battery gets empty.
I believe code was added that, if 1 motors drops, it makes the opposite motor turn slower also.
If you look at the end of this video : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ywU46Nh-Kys
you'll see my hexa descending on low battery while testing/demonstrating simple mode. While it was descending I was increasing throttle until I hit the maximum just before it got to the ground.
I mean, loiter pids were changed in 2.0.47, but it also sounds like a low voltage to an esc?
Is it possible that it hit a low voltage cutout?
