In terms of propellers for drones, i've always debated and now comes time to decide how many blades i should have on my Drone's prop?

and as a combination because i'm sure it matters to a certain extent, which motors are you guys using for the Projet reaper? Im thinking brushless definitely. And it must be powerful enough to handle heavy winds/ a heavy drone.

Go with the largest, slowest turning prop your motor can spin. Use a two-blade prop if it gives you enough thrust. If you cannot get enough thrust, then turn it a little faster.

If that does not give you enough thrust, you might have to use a smaller prop, and turn it even faster.

If that does not give you enough thrust, you might have to go with a three blade prop and turn it even faster.

You'll need to do the calculations. As you go from a large, slow two bladed prop to a fast, small, three bladed prop, you will be using far more energy for less thrust (i.e., less efficient)
