Others have asked similar questions, but I have not seen a satisfactory answer.
I'm running PixHawks, and I have 2 GPSs. I have the option of
1. USE BEST or
2. BLEND
I understand what "Use best" means, but I have noticed that I get a bit less position "drift" when I choose BLEND, but I wonder what happens if one GPS fails. or loses and regains signal. Does it recover gracefully? I guess I could pull the connector and try it, but I would like to know what it is supposed to do.
Also, the BLEND MASK defaults to "5", does that mean it "blends" X, Y and delta XY (speed)? Does it not look at altitude?
