3 axis accelorotometer kalman filtering

hello,

I want to use simlar code just to read and filter 3 axis accel data.

I have looked at the arduimu code, and it reads from gyro and gps as well.

How can I read single, double or triple axis accel data, and kalman filter it?

or is this a futile attempt without the gyro?

    A Kalman is a filter that uses the integration or fusion of two sensors. So by defintion you need to have multiple sensors. If you want to use an accelerometer as a simple inclinometer, then you need 3 axis of measurment and probably a lowpass filter. This alone will not give you an attitude estimation while flying however because of the centripetal acceleration terms.
