Hi,

I bought the:

- Arducopter complete kit (unassembled) from 3DR

- 3S 5000mAh LIPO battery from Hobbyking (here)

Problem:

While building from my Arducopter kit, while soldering/ connecting the PDB, I found that I did not receive a connector compatible for the LIPO battery from the PDB (Power distribution board).

Also, this connector socket from LIPO does not fit into my Accucel-6 charger's connector (from hobbyking).

I am not sure what kind of connector is that (dean or XT60 or something else). Earlier, I ordered all XT60's w.r.t 3DR order.

What should I do now and what should I order?

Looking forward to your reply.

  • This is not really the correct forum for this but:

The connector on the battery is something else, I believe a 4mm HXT connector.

Your charger appears to come with an XT60.

You now have a decision to make.  You could change the battery to an XT60, or you could change the PDB and charger to HXT.  Note that the XT60 technically is not really rated to supply as much power as that battery can supply, or how much power as 4 20A ESC's can demand.  The HXT is.  But, I find HXT's frustrating to install and a bit annoying in use.  I have now switched to XT90 for all my higher power applications.
