I am trying to figure out some issues with my external compass. When I just use the pixhawk's compass with the external 3DR compass unplugged, I get quick and accurate compass readings. Once I plug in the external though, it auto detects it, but continues to take readings from the pixhawks compass too. So I believe I have two compasses taking readings now and the results are bad, I doesn't even really know it's rotating most times. I've confirmed each compass is taking it's own readings by moving them individually, but when together it goes haywire since it seems like they are countering each other. How can I get just the external compass to be on without the pixhawk compass? I got the external because I read it would give me better accuracy/less interference. I've tried changing to the external compass on the calibration screen as well as changing the parameter in the params list, no success so far.Any thoughts? Thanks again guys!Evan

Sorry, I can't help you with this, and it's not really a tradheli specific problem. You'd be better off posting this question in a Pixhawk specific forum.
