Well, it's been a while since I've flown, but installing the new APM Planner 2.0.18, and then loading the newest firmware on to my 3DR hexacopter, I'm not setting any common configurations for it. I see the X8, Y6 and so on, but not for the 3DR Hex.
It was discontinued from the 3DR store a long time ago, (and you won't even find it there now), but I was wondering if any had any hints about this?
Should I just go with whatever default settings it loads? Should I load an older firmware? What's best?

Slight update... I've loaded the firmware via the older Mission Planner, and used the Wizard. I'll see how it all goes. But it seems that way, I can come back and use all the newer software. It's been a long time since I've flown - like over a year and a half.
