Hi, my plan is to establish LAN connection between 2 computers using 2 3DR radios.To be more specific, I want replace a LAN arrangement where 2 computers are directly connected with Ethernet cable. But 3DR radio can provide much longer distance than Ethernet cable. So I want to replace the Ethernet cable with 2 3DR radios. I know the data transfer rare will be very slow.I want to create the system as such that it will provide all the functionalities of LAN. I already tried the TCP to COM softwares. But I think they don't provide all the functionalities of LAN which I want.What are hardware and software I need. Any help is much appreciated.

My plan is to start with the 3DR Radio. Then I want to implement the above but with RFD 900 radio which can sometimes cover 30 km. I want the system to be omnidirectional and long range, which is not possible by WiFi.
So pl suggest me something to implement LAN with 3DR radio.

Why don't use standard Wifi with directional antenna to reach a good range?
