I had a really bad misconception about what I would need to monitor my bixler from the ground once I had configured the 3R Radios. I thought that I could just use the radios and a laptop (via mission planner) to do that. Can someone send a reply (or link) that will help me to properly configure a ground station (with all components) that will make proper use of my 3DR Radios? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for your help.

I'm afraid I don't understand the question. All you need is APM in the air, the MP running on a laptop on the ground and a pair of 3DR radios. Is that what you have?
If so, once connected the MP will show all flight telemetry data.
