Simple (hopefully) questions for anybody knowing the inner workings of the 3DR solo Artoo "Solo Link" services.
If you ssh into 10.1.1.1 (the controller), and run "ps", you'll see a process running from /usr/bin/app_streamer. Seperately, there exists an app_streamer.py, which basically listens for video packets to forward to the connected solo app (/var/run/solo_app.ip).
1. Does the binary file /usr/bin/app_streamer have anything to do with the app_streamer.py? I don't see where/how the app_streamer.py is actually being used.
2. If app_streamer.py was just some kind of prototyping leftover (not being used), where can I find the source for the app_streamer app? I've traversed 3DR's site and cannot find their solo link repository.
3. If app_streamer is somehow compiled from app_streamer.py, how do I do that?
I need to manipulate app_streamer to forward the video packets to multiple recipients for a project.
I'm uncertain which forum developers for 3DR view, so I'm starting here. Feel free to direct me to a better forum to post these questions!
