Hi all,
I recently ordered some parts from 3drobotics and have a suggestion for them. Why don't you give your customers any option for standard business shipping? It is extremely painful to pay $19 in shipping on a $63 order, nearly a third of the price of the item. I for one, do not need everything in 3 days, and, as I'm sure you would all agree, in most cases 5-8 days is more than sufficient. So please, add an option for cheaper (albeit slower) shipping.
Also, before I get a flood of replies telling me this is the wrong venue to post this request, there are two distinct advantages. First of all, if I merely emailed them my request, I have a low chance of any change really happening because it is easier to ignore and not quite as public (we all know DIY and 3DR are intertwined). Second of all, if all the people who agree with me reply to this post, then 3drobotics will be more likely to change because they see it really is a problem that affects multiple people, and they do not have to sort through multiple requests.
