+2 axis SPI output gyro

Hello,Does anyone know of any gyro that has output on 2 or more axis - and has SPI output? I dediced to design a sensor board that will work with gumstix verdex, but I dont want to make analog measurements, so I like all sensors to talk over SPI or I2C.I have found every sensor I need except the gyros. Also has anyone tried sensors at http://shop.hy-line.de ?Prices are somewhat nice, and they sell these - inclinometers that are 2 axis and output SPI. but I am not sure if inclinometer == gyro. certainly the inclinometers have at most 90degree range, so that could be a problem.Best Regards.

  • Hello! Cam bazz.

    I saw these:
    ADIS16350 6 DoF Sensor (room temp CAL) +/- 75 to 300 °/s 0.018 °/s/LSB 0.35 0.05 4.75 to 5.25 33mA -40 to 85°C 23 mm x 23 mm x 23 mm Mod $275.00
    ADIS16354 6 DoF Sensor (-20 to 70C CAL) +/- 75 to 300 °/s 0.018 °/s/LSB 0.35 0.05 4.75 to 5.25 33mA -40 to 85°C 23 mm x 23 mm x 23 mm Mod $322.00
    ADIS16355 6 DoF Sensor (-40 to 85C CAL +/- 75 to 300 °/s 0.018 °/s/LSB 0.35 0.05 4.75 to 5.25 33mA -40 to 85°C 23 mm x 23 mm x 23 mm Mod $359.00

I think are good for you.

"incinometer" sounds like a German way of saying "tilt sensor", which is common way to describe an accelerometer. Almost certainly not a gyro.
  • If you do not mind the $300+ price tag, Analog Devices has a family of 3-axis IMU sensors with SPI output -

They also have single axis gyros with SPI interface for quite a bit less ($35-$75 each) - ADIS16080 and ADIS16100 -
