I have just purchased my first Xbee 900mhz modems to replace an older 2.4Ghz Maxstream system. I was wondering if anybody had any suggestion on optimum antennas? Also can you use a pigtail to connect between the Xbee card and the antenna without affecting the signal quality?

For the wire ones, my only advice is to keep them as far from your other equipment as possible. Shoot for 12" if possible.
