Hey guys, im in the verge of prototyping a simple/basic quadrotor from scratch. Im not intending to buy any ready made parts and want it to be a DIY project.Well i need help from you guys to guide me cos im kinda lost and dont know where to start from.I have read quite a number of forums but it had confused me even more. What i need is a simple DIY ESC for a 15-18A BL outrunner motor, flight controller and reciever unit.and honestly speaking,i dont know how to interface all this together. Please help me!!

Interfacing is easy. You program your board (e.g. Arduino) to generate PWM pulses on IO pins and hook these pins to the ESCs. The board usually reads inputs from an RX through more IO pins and data from an IMU over serial, computes the stabilization solutiuon and passes it to the motors via PWM.
