Can I use a separate battery to power APM with the power module? As my in my quad each motor draws 50A apm current with 4 cell. So 3DR power module can not actually handle that current. So can I use a small battery to power the apm with the power module??

I have a rover that draws significantly more current than the PM can handle, so I am using a 3S 2200mahr LiPo to power the PM which in turn is powering my APM2.6. Remember, you will not be able to measure your main battery voltage and current if you do this.
I also use the 3S LiPo to power a video transmitter:-)

there is a servo wire i.e a BEC wire (red black orange) which gives 5V(red and black). but at the spec. they are saying that there is no BEC.I have to use and external BEC. what is that means? if anybody knows the answer please help me. Thanx in advance.
