AC 2.0.36 firmware problem

I have been flying successfully on AC 2.0.33 without any major problems

I thought it was time to try the latest version.   I complied and loaded Version AC 2.0.36 then configured in CLI all seemed to work OK.

Took the QUAD to the flying field for testing in stabilized mode with all trims centralized.

Switched on and armed motors,  on take off the QUAD was spinning around in the YAW axis, unable to stop the spin.

Back at home I measured the pulse widths from the Processor board channels to the ESC.

When armed all channels were at 975uS

At one third throttle  channels 1 & 2 were 1250uS -  channels 3 & 4 were 1450uS

At half throttle          channels 1 & 2 were 1500uS -  channels 3 & 4 were 1700uS

At full throttle           channels 1 & 2 were 1500us -  channels 3 &4  were  2000us

There was the reason for the spinning  unbalanced output pulses.

I don't know what is causing the problem I used all default setting.

When back to Version AC 2.0.33 and all was OK

  • Morning,

I found 2.0.36 un flyable, quad just wanted to tip over, also erratic motor accellerations.  Uploaded 2.0.37, same PIDS as I used in .36 and all is well again.
