add-on para mission planner

I need help for a project I will do in college, which addresses:


Description:
The "Mission Planner" enterprise software 3D Robotics is an open source software and you can add add-ons that make it more efficient in operation, operation and support during flight missions. This software serves as the basis for configuration and planning missions autopilots company 3D Robotics (AMP 2.6 and PixHawk).


Objective:

Create an add-on for the "Mission Planner" software that allows real-time display area on the ground covering each image when the camera makes a catch during a mission, for work of photogrammetry. This add-on helps you know if you are capturing photos in the selected region, the overlap between each of the pictures and if necessary improve flight planning.
(Basically, what I'm trying to make is that images of the areas that are being captured by the drone, are displayed on the map of Mission planner)


I would appreciate someone to help me or an idea on what part of the source code of the Mission Planner I must work. Any opinion or idea is welcome. Thanks in advance.
