I am just wondering how can i add a way point during a pre planed flight without affecting the current flight plan..what are options available..??
am Using Cruis with megapirateNG through APM mission planer

You can use the "Fly To Here" feature, right-click on Flight Data map and select "Fly To Here". It's named Guided Mode.
Hi,
The MAVLink protocol does not support incremental operations on flight planes. It is all or nothing. See http://qgroundcontrol.org/mavlink/waypoint_protocol . However you can add the extra WP to you plan on the ground, and upload the new plan.
