Sorry, I didn't see this post. Here's the wiki page for the helicopter. It should be pretty similar except that you need to copy the APMQuad directory which can be found in the APMissionPlanner directory, in a zip file called AeroSimRCAPMHil.zip. this file should be copied to the AeroSIMRC's plugin directory (for me this is C:\Program Files (x86)\AeroSIM-RC\plugin).
I've actually just tried to get it working but it doesn't quite work so I'm sure I've missed a step somewhere...
Im confused about the RC inputs. does the APM put the incoming rc signals from the reciever over the usb to aerosim? or need i another adapter to get them in the pc? like smartpropoplus or another usb ppm adapter?
i tried to get my rc signals in, i flashed the hil fw, i checked my radio, but if i start the apm hil plugin inside of aerosim, i cant steer anything. any ideas?
