Howdy,
So, I just got the RCTimer radio modules, and I'm having a bit of trouble. They worked fine at first. I had the APM 2.5 connected to Mission Planner using the default settings, and telemetry seemed to work just fine. I did a range check, and got maybe 1000 meters range through trees and houses etc... So, I tried to lower the baud rate and airspeed rate to squeeze some more range out. This seems to have caused two problems; Now the APM won't talk to Mission Planner through the radios (USB works fine). It seems like the radios are connected, as both have a solid green light, and I can see them both in the configuration utility. Also, I can't seem to change the settings on the 'air' module anymore, and it seems to be stuck working at 16k airspeed. How do I get the APM to connect again? Is there a baud rate I have to set in the APM somewhere? I'm also curious how I'm supposed to change the airspeed again. Any help would be much appreciated.

Yup, still stuck on this. I'm gonna have to get an FTDI serial converter to program the air module, then I might be able to do some real troubleshooting.
Ok, disregard on the not being able to connect to the APM... Turns out there's a parameter to adjust the telemetry rate, go figure. I guess I should probably get an FTDI adapter and use that to change the settings on the air module anyway.
Now, about halfway through connecting with Mavlink via the radios, I get a message with the following details.
