Hey Guys,
My altitude hold works perfectly over bricks or hard surfaces. But doesnt work nicely over grass.
Am I doing something wrong?

Yeah that sonar is not very good. Fine on Hard surfaces, but not grass.
We recommend the MB1200 XL EZ0 - it's omni directional so tilt doesn't matter, and it's powerful so it has better response over grass.

To fly over grass, you have to paint your frame green to fool nature into thinking it is not a space invader. Then the ionizing green reflected light from the grass will be easier to detect from your sonar. ;-)
