I 'm new to the world of UAVs, and I want to build a quad-copter. An arducopter seems to be perfect to begin, and I plan to buy the kit when the pre-orders open again. I know quite a bit about electronics, but this will be my first contact with RC equipement, so I wondered if you could look at my parts list and correct me if I'm wrong. I've been reading this forum and the arducopter wiki for nearly a month now but I want to make sure everything is correct before ordering anything.
I read the Turnigy/Eurgle/FlySky/Whatever 9X was quite good for its price (and its firmwire can be changed to an open-source one), so I think I will choose it for my radio. As it's on backorder on HK, I think I will order it at R2Hobbies. To avoid paying too much shipping I will also buy the battery there.
I read a 3S 2200mAh battery provided enough current for a 9-10 min flight. I thought about this one. Is it good ? will 20C be enough ? Is it worth ordering a higher capacity like this one to have a longer flight time, or will it be too heavy ?
Next thing, if I order a battery I guess I need a charger. Will this cheap one be enough or do I need a bigger like this one ?
Last thing, for those of you who already own an Eurgle radio, which LiPo batteries (from R2hobbies, again to minimize shipping costs) would fit inside to replace the 8xAA pack ? This one seems to be the closest match, but will it fit ?
Well, I hope I didn't ask too much silly questions at once ;-) The last one: I know nobody really knows, but when will the pre-order open again ? I mean, will it be in a few days, or more like 1-2 weeks ? Sorry if it's written somewhere, I may have missed it. I can't wait to have a functionnal arducopter !
Thank you for your answers.

the cheap charger is enough, but if you want to switch to 4S later you'll need to have the bigger one
i don't know this radio, sorry
