I have an Align 700e FBL Helicopter with a DX8 Transmiter. Does any one know how to wire and configure the APM 2.0 Board to work.Need help withReceiver out to APM 2.0 input connections?APM 2.0 Output to Servo connections?DX8 Transmiter Settings?APM 2.0 Settings?I having a couple of problems 1: The RED LED won't stop flashing i get a stedy BLUE LED and the HUD display in mission planner in big red letters says DISSABLED. 2: When I push forward on the right stick the motor starts spinning when I let go go the right stick and it returns to center the motor stops. The motor also via the left stick actavates the motor like normal. But why does the right stick have anything to do with the motor it makes no séance to me. If anyone could help Thanks..

Hey guys. I need a little advice. I have a DX7 with 6 channel receiver. I also joined the following:
Receiver out to APM2: Aileron -> APM Ch.1 Elevator -> APM Ch.2 AUX1 (Pitch) -> APM Ch.3 Rudder -> APM Ch.4 Gear (Gyro) -> APM Ch.5 for flight mode switching. Throttle -> Directly connect to the ESC
APM2 to Servos
Ch1 -> Front Left Servo Ch2 -> Front Right Servo Ch3 -> Rear Servo Ch4 -> Rudder
BUT ....
The only thing that works is throttle. Servos do not perform any movement ... When I connect it by http://code.google.com/p/ardupilot-mega/wiki/APM2RC (THROTTLE in output 3) it does the same thing again as described Raz55 DJ. So where the hell I stab the cable from the BEC? Any suggestions ?
Yeah, I agree with Wesley. I think the wiring in and out of your APM2 is incorrect perhaps because the DX8 receiver channels are quite different from the futaba style which is what's shown in the wiki instructions.
The red flag there is the motor, that should be connected to the receiver.
I have the same setup as you. DX8 with spektrum receiver.
Receiver out to APM2:
Aileron -> APM Ch.1
Elevator -> APM Ch.2
AUX1 (Pitch) -> APM Ch.3
Rudder -> APM Ch.4
Gear (Gyro) -> APM Ch.5 for flight mode switching.
Throttle -> Directly connect to the ESC
APM2 to Servos
Ch1 -> Front Left Servo
Ch2 -> Front Right Servo
Ch3 -> Rear Servo
Ch4 -> Rudder
DX8 Settings. Just the default will do, which has the "Normal" for swashplate setting.
Sounds like the connections you have between the APM and the servos are wrong. I bet you were expecting Ch1 goes to Ch1, Ch2 goes to Ch2, etc, of what you had from the Receiver. :) That's why your right stick also move the motor.

Are you flying mode 1 or 2?
It sounds like something is weird with your radio.
