APM 2.0: Motors keep beeping after arming

Hello guys,

two days ago I received my APM 2.0 and hooked it up in my Hexacopter with the instructions.

I configured it and calibrated the esc's proper.

But if I want to arm the motors the esc's keep beeping.

I checked the signals, the APM, the esc's and the radio but I can't find a mistake!

Additionally I can say that the hexacopter and the esc's worked with the APM 1.0

So here are some informations for you.I hope you can help me.

- APM 2.0

- Radio Turnigy 9x with PPM signal

- ESC's are calibrated with the radio

- in the CLI mode you can see the correct signals

- red led (a) flashes and turns solid if I arm the copter

also you can see in the Mission Planner that it is armed

Photos from my APM 2.0:

The first shows the APM 2.0 armed,

the second the backside

and the third also the backside with the soldered ppm jumper (ppm-ppm)

(nothing is soldered at the backside but the ppm-ppm jumper)

  • Hey guys,

I solved it today! Because the ESC's are Opto coupled, they need a seperate energy source!

Can somebody tell me how to get 5V at the outputs?
