APM 2.5 Compass

Not sure if this is the proper area to ask for some help but....

My APM 2.5 came up with "bad compass health error. When connected to my PC via MAvlink the compass appears to be working properly when I move it around. I tried another compass calibration but got the error. Can the compass be replaced?

I have another APM 2.5 that was working but now says no heartbeats  found or something and will not connect to Mavlink.I'd like to fix that but could I swap out the compass?
