APM 2.5 Datalogging capacity extension

Hello,

I'm using the APM 2.5 to register GPS and IMU information but my missions takes me around 1.5 hours.

Is there anyways to extend the capacity of the APM 2.5?

I was thinking about getting arduino UNO Rev. 3 with a SD shield and try to connect it to APM 2.5 but before buying the parts I would like to know if it's possible, if there are other simpler options and if someone has done something similar that I could used as a guide.

    Hi,

    I did not find any immediate solution either. Simply using a larger SD card will not do it; the capacity is hardwired into the code.

    But you could turn off logging of unnecessary things maybe, or hack into the code to reduce the frequency (it is certainly not too low to start with). Or, as you thought of, making your own data logger. You could connect that to the SPI bus that gets freed up when you remove the SD card...
