I'm having a strange problem with a APM 2.5 powered hexacopter that I just finished putting together.  I got it up in the air for the first time and it flew as expected (a little twitchy but probably PID issues). I flew it in stabilize for about 30 seconds, landed, took it inside, and downloaded the logs.

Since then, whenever I try to take off, the copter seems to be "fighting itself" and won't launch at a throttle setting where it would before. I have a feeling that it may be vibration issues but nothing changed between the good flight and now. I'm attaching a log file for an attempted flight, which starts about 3/4 of the way through the log.  It would be great if somebody with more experience interpreting logs could help me out here as I am rather clueless.

Edit: I just added another log of the first flight where it flew ok.  It's the second file. Unfortunately IMU logging was not enabled so I'm not sure how much useful data there is.

  • It was actually a glaringly simple solution. Some combination of plugging and unplugging the battery manage to reverse 4 out of the 6 ESC's.
