First post! But of course long time lurker.
On the 11th for a class project I sent an APM 2.5 up in a high altitude balloon. The flight went well and everything was recovered undamaged.
But the telemetry file is proving to be a problem.
In Mission planner when I go to open the file I get a error message, "log browse will not function correctly without FMT messages in your log. These appear to be missing from your log". So I cannot analyze any of the telemetry.
All I really need at this point is to be able to open the KMZ file in google earth and show the flight. The file does open in google earth but has no flight path, which is strange because when I select flight path then hit "play tour" it shows the whole flight just without the visuals.
Any tips on how to either fix the file or get the visuals to show in Google Earth would be hugely appreciated. Thanks.
