Hi,

Total noob here, so please bear with me.

I bought and assembled a ArduPilot Mega 2.5 with GPS (this one)

Installed the AMP Mission planner and connected the board to my laptop   Actually working, very proud / happy / excited.

But not sure how this software work, is there some documentation beyond the most obvious?

Also, how do I know if the GPS works?  There's a blue light steadily blinking, but in the mission planner it does not pick up my position.  (Should it?  Does it but I'm missing sth?)

Either case, very happy here.  Took several days teach myself soldering before tacking this task, and got to say each joint are near perfect.    :-D
