Hi all, haven't speak for a whileI'm not sure if this question is posted somewhere else...I was wondering, the biggest difference between the two latest APM's 2.5 and 2.6Is it only the external compass? Is the rest of the firmware identical?If I fit an external compass to the APM 2.5 will it give me the same performance as the APM 2.6? Are the firmware compatible?

APM 2.6 is a revision of the APM 2.5 that has no on-board compass but instead is designed to be used with the 3DR GPS uBlox LEA-6 with HMC5883 compass module which allows the compass to be mounted far from sources of magnetic interference.
