APM 2.6 airspeed and shutter control

I have a fixed wing platform with APM 2.6 and I want to install a remote shutter trigger for a canon S 100  and airspeed indicator

The directions for each seem vague to me

The airspeed indicator, pitot static I bought is a Eagle Tree

#d Robotics is out of the product they sell

Does anyone have a wiring schematic for either of these additional inputs

  • Hi Paul

Does the canon S100 have infra red remote interface?

If so a simple infra red trigger plugged into pwm pin 10 will do it.

    Like this one

You then have to use Mission planner to do a bit of setup, just got it working myself

Can give you more info if you have the infrared port

    • Hi Phil

I do not have that remote interface you are referring to .I was hoping I could use my USB and not have it triggered by GPS location but by a half shutter press just like CHDK in manual mode

My problem is sometimes I have to land before my script is done and I am getting sick of replacing cameras due to lens error cause by landing with the lens open
