APM 2.6 bad/jittery gimbal control output on A11

Trying to control my brushless dys 3axis gimbal with the PWM output from a11 on my apm. I was able to get the gimbal to react to the turning of the knob on my transmitter but it seemed all over the place and would go up and down and not react correctly or smoothly. Finally I plugged in a regular servo to a11 and I have the same thing, the servo is jumping and jittering all over, as I move the knob the servo moves but not in a reliable repeatable way. Anyone else experienced this?

I'm using a reprogrammed TX as my onboard RX so unfortunately I have to run PPM through the APM for gimbal tilt as there are no channel outputs on my TX other than the PPM. So I really have to get this working.

  • Finally fixed it. For anyone else experiencing this. Even though it appeared that my ch6 input was calibrated successfully and I had done the calibration before. I tried it again and this solved all my issues. So if youre having the same problem, try re calibrating your radio through mission planner.
