APM 2.8 issues

Greetings all!

I recently switched away from the HK KK2.0 to the APM 2.8 with the DShot 3DR Radio.

I'm running into two issues.

The first is that it seems that the APM wants to re-initialise when I arm it and during flight.

The second is the "DCM Bad Heading" message.

Things that I've done to try to solve the problems: 

  • Removed JP1 (because I'm using the power module)
  • "Cut" all +5v lines from my ESCs (I only had one set up anyway as a holdover from my KK2.0)
  • Re-calibrated the compass module
  • Reconfigure the compass module (I found that it had a "Roll +180" setting attached. I reverted it to "None")

If you look at the picture, you'll see that the GPS+Compass are pretty far away from any interference (IMO). 

Any help/direction would be greatly appreciated. I'm so stoked to get this thing fully up and running and this seems to be my last hurdle!
