Hi All,
I just upgraded the firmware (3.1) on a DIY tricopter which had V2.8 arming just fine.
Now when I was testing arming, the three motors start by themselves and I can only accelerate them but not shut them off via radio. Is there a PID I have to change? I calibrated them before.
Also, the reason I upgraded is the my first trial on lifting it, the copter kept flipping right side on all attempts.
First I need to solve the self-start motors so I can fix the flipping issue.
Any help will be appreciated or if there is any link to this issue please respond.

There is a parameter to change this new default behavior.
Warning #1: Motors will spin (slowly) by default as soon as the copter is armed! You can switch this feature off by setting the MOT_SPIN_ARMED parameter to zero.
