I changed something in the code in the Arduino IDE. I tried to use the APM_config.h but this has no affects on the values....
Is the APM_config.h disabled for the version of ArduPlane?

hmm..someone else reported the same thing re arducopter just a few hours ago...but it seems to be working fine for me..still needs some investigation I guess.
Which version of the arduino ide are you using? Arduino 1.0.1 or the one from the downloads area?
