I just fitted a Beholder Brushless Gimbal to my APM powered DJI-F550 Hex.
I can see that the Alexmoss based controller that's with this gimbal can allow me to tie it into my receiver to control tilt (pan down basically).
Ideally what I'd like to do, (don't know if I can), is to keep all of my Aux inputs from the receiver wired into the APM as they are now.
So that I can continue to use Channel 6 for for normal APM functions like pid tuning or what not.
But be able to change that to tilt the Gimbal if I so desire without rewiring it back to the receiver.
I'd like to be able to wire say output 7 or 8 to the gimbal and be able to swap the Ch6 Opt to tilt the gimbal.
Possible? Anyone done this and can steer me in the right direction?

OK, I figured it out, and wrote up a quick blog post in case others need it.
