APM Flight Data: Do Actions and other Tabs help needed

Hi just looking at these features, I did not find explanation of these Do Action items. Few these actions seem to be used in Auto mode. But few actions like STORAGE_READ, CALIBRATE_GYRO dont.

1. Can someone provide a good explanation of these Actions and all the other tabs shown here.

2. I want to use the Joystick, Which one should I use and can someone used it before and how is its behavior in flying

A recommended joystick/gamepad is in the manual, along with instructions on how to use it.
