APM power input

Hey, another noob question, but, if it prevent 250$ investment!

I receive my APM and APM IMU yesterday, solder everything, make a couple of test, working great so far. Now, I am at the point to put it on my quad copter and I'm worried about power distribution.

As far as I know, We can't put more than 5V on the boards.

In the documentation of the ArduCopter, it's showed just one power input with the ESC, and all other ESC are connected just with the signal. Is there a problem if I connect all my 4 esc with the 3 wire? then, there will be 4 time 5V in the APM board from the ESC, but I presume that the board will just take power from one input! is it right???

thank

You should not connect all four ESCs with their + and - wires. If the BECs aren't perfectly matched, they'll fight. Cut the + and - for all but one.
