How does one connect a tablet or phone running Andropilot or Droidplanner to a laptop running Mission Planner using Wifi?
I.e. I want to have my laptop running MP with telemetry and have my phone in my pocket connected to the laptop via Wifi routing the telemetry data to my phone.
(I don't want just the phone connected to the telemetry, that I can do already.)

So no easy way to do this? I'm surprised...
Thanks Stephen, I thought it was a lot simpler than that, I really don't want to add more cost, configuring and more to go wrong from adding other devices or components.
The way I intend to do it is to use MAVProxy.

However it is a bit of a mission to setup and the windows (if thats what you use) executable installer seems to be missing from the github. You would need to compile if from source for windows.
I have had a lot of success with MAVProxy running on a Beaglebone Black. If you can set one up you can use the BBB connected to the USB radio modem and then wi-fi it out to your laptop and phone. Droidplanner accepts UDP in 14550 OK.
Watch the wifi though. Turn off N and just use G and channel 13. That is right at the end of the frequencies that the 2.4Ghz radios use and leave them plenty of room to jump frequencies. I use a cheap chinese MiFi to connect the BBB to wifi.
The FySky use the frequency range:
(MHz)
