APM2.5 reverse mounting on a frame?

I'm sure I read somewhere about being able to mount the APM backwards on a frame and that there is a setting somewhere you can set which reverses it 180 degrees in the settings so the APM thinks it's facing the correct way (forward) The reason I ask is because I'm in the middle of a new build and a few of the wires are going to be very messy. By reversing the APM I can get round the problem. Any one know if this is true?

    @Kev,

    This is what you are looking for:

    Board Orientation (AHRS_ORIENTATION)

    Note: This parameter is for advanced users

    Overall board orientation relative to the standard orientation for the board type. This rotates the IMU and compass readings to allow the board to be oriented in your vehicle at any 90 or 45 degree angle. This option takes affect on next boot. After changing you will need to re-level your vehicle.
