I have a question regarding the compass. I want to use both the remote compass and the "better" GPS and on some of their early ads for the APM2 they said it could be had without the compass and the GPS and on the order page you can select "No GPS" but I don't see a choice on the compass. The APM2 board has a plug for the remote compass and the remote GPS. Can you use a remote compass with the stock on board compass or am I missing something?

APM 2.5, which will be released next week, will add the option of an easier choice between onboard and external magnetometer. Or, if you order APM 2.0 unassembled, you can achieve the same thing by not soldering on the daughterboard (although you'll lose onboard datalogging ability).
