AR.Drone hacking?

I got my AR.Drone a few days ago, and I've been having fun flying it around, but it's time to make with the hacking. Is this an appropriate place to discuss such things? I did a quick search and found a flurry of comments, but no real discussion threads. 
Has anyone here done anything with it yet?

Sorry if this post is in the wrong category...there's so many to choose from it was hard to pick one.

    I would love to have the AR.Drone control the flight stablisation in my ArduCopter.  The AR.Drone is so damn stable  and accurate in the hover.

    i got my drone 2 months ago, and i really want to make some real modifications on it-connect a third camera- to it's GPIO... i don't know if it is visible or not , but i will give it a try

    Hey Brandon, got mine late last week and have already made a couple modifications. 1st I changed out the battery connectors to make way for bigger capacity LiPo's. 2nd I lit up the whole underside with white LED's (non external shells). I'd be interested in better bearings for the rotors, improved motors, GPS, etc... As well as any firmware mods.

    Any luck finding anything?
