    Most probably there will be support for different type heli setups on ArduCopter heli software in future but now it is still highly experimental code and having early Alpha status. So be really careful on using it or even planning to use it.

     

    Current test code supports only basic stabilization, tail rotor is not included on it.

     

     

  • I think they are CCPM

    Cyclic/collective pitch mixing (CCPM) reduces mechanical complexity and increases precision of control of the helicopter rotor's swashplate. you,ll need it for the fail safe (ie.for standard mode if you have a problem with APM like for TEST FLIGHTS )

    you could probably have the APM do the mixing but why bother...i,m curios why you would want too.
