I have an Arducopter v2.6 on my quadcopter and am just starting to get it flying. Yesterday I took it to the park for the second time for some test flights. The flight went as follows:
- Take off
- Climb to about 3 feet
- Hover for a few seconds
- Climb to about 5 feet
- Hover for a few seconds
- Quad starts shaking badly
- 2 motors turn off and quad falls to the ground
I have attached my dataflash log. Looking at it I notice a few things but I don't have much experience with this.
- I unintentionally had the quad in altitude hold mode rather than stabilize
- The quad seems to be incorrectly recognizing roll starting around line 4818
Why might this have happened? It seems the accelerometer just went haywire. After the crash I paired it with ground station and everything checked out.
