ArduCopter V2.8.1 and Mission Planner

I  downloaded and built the ArduCopter V2.81 and the Mission Planner.  When I compile the ArduCopter V2.8.1 with Arduino and load it to my Heli the servo calibration does not show up in Mission Planner.  I  Connect to the Mission Planner and initially loads the parameter but the Radio Calibration screen has nothing for all the channels.  I was wondering if this is done on purpose or if I have a setup problem.  I noticed that Mission Planner says  ArduCopter V2.7.3 Heli(2560 only).

Actually I think I am having issues with any code that I load into the Heli.  If I use the Mission Planner to upload the code I have no issues.  If I load using the Arduino IDE then I cannot get the RC Channel settings in Mission Planner.

  • David, you cannot use V2.8.1 for TradHeli, it's unflyable.  I have been working on it, and V2.9 will work and get us caught up.

What type of heli are you using?

I also have this issue where the Radio Calibration screen is blank in MP.  Not sure why.
