I am building an X8 Multirotor. I would like to use one of the arms as the front facing direction. Does anyone know if Arducopter supports the plus (+) configuration or must we use the default X configuration only if flying an X8 octacopter?

Quick update in the hope it may help someone: I determined through experimentation that Arducopter does support the plus configuration for the X8 by changing the parameter directly.
