Hey need help,
I have an Arducopter(loaded with Arducopter NG code) but am having issues with:
1) Yaw stabilization : Watch the video at https://www.youtube.com/user/an2650028 the vehicle keeps yawing.....I have a magnetometer on board but it makes absolutely no difference. I even disconnected the magneto and landed up getting the same result. What could the issue be?
2) GPS lock: Using a media tek GPS, the blue LED on the GPS module stops blinking when I bring it out in the open, which I assume means that it has a satellite lock......but the APM 'C' LED does not turn RED.......why?

Yes do check your rudder channel. According to your video, it's not yawing so fast and you stopped it with rudder. So check your rudder calibration/trims.
After you have gotten solid blue on GPS, have you tried to switch to GPS hold while in ground and motors are off? On ArduCopterNGyou had to witch on GPS hold quickly to get red led lit after first lock. That was a well known program issue when we handed NG code development to Pirates group. They fixed this check procedure as far as I know.
Would be good to start using our ACM code or PiratesNG code. We are not developing anymore ArducopterNG.
