ArduIMU not recognized

I just bought an ArduIMU v3.  I am not able to get the Arduino IDE to recognized the device.  It does not show up under Tools/Serial Port.  When I connect the FTDI cable the LEDs light up, then only the green remains solid and x rapidly flashes yellow.  

I have installed the latest FTDI drivers and checked the solder connections on the headers.  Any ideas on how I can troubleshoot?

  • Ensure that you've selected the appropriate board in your IDE. Duemilanove with ATMega 328.

  • I think the problem is my cable.  It works intermittently.
