Two nights ago I unpluged my ArduIMU v2 flat after sa uccessful first time checkout with new FTDI cable, MediaTek GPS, and ArduIMU Test program.   I used Arduino IDE to change the GPS configuration.  All worked well.

I come back tonight and hook it up and to continue checking it out, but for some reason it doesn't seem to communicate with ArduIMU Test.  The LED sequence appears different, as I recall.

Maybe someone can tell me what the my lite sequence might mean:

3 leds in a row - Red-> Red+Blue->Red+Blue+Yel->Blue+Yel->Yel

Green led remains on.

about 4 seconds to cycle thru this sequence, then a 2 sec pause before starting over

GPS blue LED flashes on/off at about 1 Hz (I'm inside so I doubt it's locking onto anything).

FYI, before shutting down two nights ago I was also successful doing the following and in fact I left it configured this way until I came back tonight:

Connected a XBEE/Pro, configured for 38400 baud connected to ArduIMU V2 Flat.  Also

USB cable connected to XBEE/Pro.   9V battery powering ArduIMU, which also powered GPS and XBEE/Pro.  Battery and USB where disconnected before leaving.

I had no problem communicating between ArduIMU and ArduIMU Test program.  That's how I left it.

Obviously, no one can troubleshoot what I might have done inadvertantly, but maybe the LED sequence is a clue.

Thanks

  • Update... I opened arduino IDE and attempted to reload the software, but no joy. The IDE gives up with errors about
    "not in sync", etc. Furthermore, the LEDs do not skip a beat and continue as described in my original post. So, the
    board appears non responsive. Any ideas?
