I'm trying to compile a (very) subtly modified version of Arduplane 2.74b using the IDE downloaded from the Arduplane website (1.0.3) but it hangs when I try to compile.  Actually, it doesn't hang fully, just the compile status bar stops about half way, but I can still access any of the other menu functions etc.

Any clues how to fix this?

A search here hasn't revealed anything for me yet that might fix it.

I'm running Win7SP1 with the libraries folder copied into my My Documents>arduino>libraries folder as well

More on this:

If you go into file>preferences you will find an option show verbose output during [] compilation [] upload

Ticking these both reveal that the IDE is actually still doing something, albeit veeeeryyy sloooowwwly!

Hmmmm....
